Lake Mariah is Aurora Garden's private lake and is completely
within the 525 acre retreat.

The lake covers 5 acres and is 15 ft. deep. It's water is constantly
refreshed by 28 springs and 4 streams.

The broad sand beach provides plenty of space for sun
bathing and swimming for all ages. A raft is anchored in the
lake for deep water fun.

Buddy swimming is required because there are no lifeguards on duty.

Paddle boats and canoes are available for you to explore the
5 acres of Lake Mariah. Life jackets are required and available at office. 
Power boats are not permitted on the lake.

The pier off the beach provides a convenient place to fish for perch,
blue gills and sunfish or just be surrounded by the lake. Of course you
can also fish from the shore or canoes.

A picnic area is near the lake. Parents can keep an eye on the
kids at the lake while grilling lunch and setting the picnic table.

Lake Mariah is here for you to relax and play.
