  • TOURS:  Gladly given.  We would like you to call or e-mail us ahead of time to arrange your tour so we can set aside time for your visit.

    NUDISM:
    The clothing format at Aurora Gardens Retreat is clothing optional because we want new converts to naturism to feel comfortable in joining our natural lifestyle. However, if you continue to remain clothed while at Aurora Garden Retreat we're going to wonder about your motivation to be here.

  • CONDUCT: Smiling has no cost, warms the environment, and comforts the heart - Contribute often.

  • PROHIBITED: Behavior which is AGGRESSIVE, DEMEANING, VIOLENT,
    HARASSING, EMBARRASSING, OVERTLY SEXUAL, or OTHERWISE INAPPROPRIATE. We request that all body contact be limited to simple expression of affection and friendship. Provocative conduct or sexual misconduct will not be tolerated.

  • GENERAL RULES: Absolutely no glass containers are allowed near the lake.  Glass containers should be avoided even at meals. Broken glass can be a hazard throughout the resort, please take care to pack away glass food containers when not in use. Many Naturists, particularly children, like the feeling of walking barefoot in the grass - broken glass can mean painful disaster.

  • LAKE RULES: 15 ft. deep. There is NO LIFEGUARD on duty; swim at your own risk. No swimming alone. Buddy swimming is required because there are no lifeguards on duty. Stay 50 ft. away from the spillway. No jumping from paddle-boats. No, "chicken" or bumping paddle-boats. Do not exceed paddle-boat capacity. Paddle-boats are provided for your amiable pleasure - abuse or misuse or damage will result in removal of the boats to storage and if returned to the lake will result in a per use charge. Wisconsin statutes prohibit the use of boats without life jackets on board. RENTAL life jackets are available at the office for $5.00 refundable deposit. Small children who are not toilet trained must wear leak proof pants in the lake. No swimming after dusk.

  • ALCOHOL and DRUGS: The use or possession of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited at all times. You will be evicted from the grounds if using or possessing same. Alcoholic beverages are permitted in cans or plastic only - absolutely no glass. Intoxicated behavior will require immediate eviction.

  • SMOKING: Is prohibited in all structures on the resort. Please dispose of cigarette butts in butt cans located in the pavilion, or in the fire rings. No one believes that the ground littered with cigarette butts is healthy or appealing. Careless smoking can destroy the resort forest.

RETURN

  • PHOTOGRAPHY: No person may be photographed or videotaped without permission. Visitors wishing to take photos must ask permission of resort management and individuals being photographed.  Anyone under 19 years are unable to give permission.

    Camera Cell -Phones:  All cell-phones, upon entry, must be registered at office.  Camera cell-phones must be registered at office and left there or taped over and packed away.  Use of camera cell-phones for any purpose will not be tolerated. (just talking is not an excuse)  Camera cell-phones reported in use will be confiscated and destroyed.
  • TOWELS: Lodge linens are not to be removed from your room. Please carry a towel with you at all times and use it to sit on. If you do not bring a towel to sit on or for use at the lake or hot tub, RENTAL TOWELS are available at the office for $2.00 a day plus refundable deposit.

  • NUDIST ETIQUETTE: Please carry a towel with you at all times and use it to sit on from your protection and out of politeness to others. Many nudists prefer to be known by first names only and may not be comfortable answering questions about their personal business. Please be discreet.
  • EVICTION:  If at any time the management of Aurora Gardens Retreat  determines in their sole opinion that it would be in the best interest of the others and/or your family and guests, and not return, you will immediately vacate the resort and remove all your possessions from same.  Upon said termination of your visit there will be no refunds.  If there is an outstanding   balance owed, Aurora Gardens Retreat retains the right to collect such balance.

  • DRIVE SLOWLY: Protect children, 10 mph speed limit. 5 mph speed limit in the campground.

  • MOTORCYCLES and ATV'S: Allowed only on trails. Riding is prohibited on the grass.

RETURN

  • CAMPERS: Register at the office.

  • CHILDREN: They must be supervised by parents or guardians at all times. No one under 13 years old is allowed at the lake without direct adult supervision. All minor children must be on their campsites after dark. At no time will minors be allowed to drink alcohol.

  • CAMPING UNITS: One trailer, motor home, tent, etc. is allowed per designated campsite.

  • VISITORS: They are the responsibility of their host, must register at the office, pay a day use fee and leave the park by 9:00 pm or they will be charged for an overnight stay.

  • LITTERING: Please put trash in sealed plastic bags and place in trash dumpster located outside the front gate,  please DO NOT USE FIRE RINGS. Plastic trash bags available at the office.

  • PRESERVING TREES and PLANTS: Do not cut, mutilate or tie clothes-lines around the trees.

RETURN

  • PETS: All pets must be kept on a leash. Clean up after your pet promptly. No pets are allowed in the beach area.  Pets must be vaccinated.  No Barking.

  • FIRES: In designated areas only - no unattended fires. No wood is to be brought into the resort. Bundles of firewood may be purchased at the office. DO NOT MOVE FIRE RINGS!

  • QUIET TIME: From 10:00 pm - 7:00 am. All radios and outside TV's and ATV's must be turned off. Be courteous. Excessive noise will result in eviction without reimbursement.

  • NO LIFEGUARD: Swim at your own risk. No swimming after dusk.  Buddy swimming only.

  • TABLES: One picnic table is allotted per site. DO NOT TAKE TABLES FROM NEIGHBORING SITES.

  • FIREARMS: No firearms are allowed. No guns includes BB guns, paint guns or slingshots.

  • CHECK OUT TIME: Noon.

  • MORE COMPLETE RULES: Are posted next to the office door and at the pavilion.

RETURN

  • IDEAS: Suggestions, ideas and comments are always welcome. Future enhancements under consideration include: indoor showers and family restrooms in the campground, indoor pool, spa/sauna building, camp supply and convenience store and wading pool for children.
